Senior Bowl
--Game Day: Saturday, January 30 (4 ET)
January 25 -- Weigh-In Thoughts:
Terrence Cody: 370 Pounds
• Terrence Cody weighed in at a disappointing 370 pounds and looked extremely overweight. The announcement of his weight saw the biggest reaction from scouts and GMs.
• Dexter McCluster’s stock took a shot as he is working out as a wide receiver and measured at 5’8, 165. Also troublesome, his hands measured at 8 ½ inches, the second smallest of all players in attendance.
• Mike Iupati looked really impressive. He measured in at 6’5, 325 and had an arm length of 35 inches, the longest of all players in attendance. Even at 325, Iupati looked chiseled and in great shape.
Myron Rolle: 6'1", 217
• Myron Rolle, despite not playing in a game for over a year, has stayed in terrific shape, measuring in at 6’1, 217 and he looked like a rock.
• Jeff Owens measured in at 6’1, 304 but looked out of shape. He looked like he weighs about 330 which brings into question how much muscle he’s really carrying.
• Ciron Black looked out of shape at 6’4, 331 and needs to impress in practice with concerns over his work ethic.
• One of the main stories of the day is the abundance of no-shows. Jerry Hughes, Brandon LaFell, Charles Brown, and Trent Williams. These are some rather big names to be missing out on the premier collegiate All-Star game.
• Dan Williams weighed in at 329 pounds and carries it extremely well. His lower body is massive and he has legs that look like tree trunks.
