The Brick Pit - Mobile, Ala.
January 28, 2010
Through both word of mouth and a mouth-watering show on Travel Channel, we decided to make a point to check out the Brick Pit here in Mobile. It’s ranked as the 80th best place in America to “chow down,” so when we decided to make the trip down to cover the Senior Bowl, it was a no-brainer on the “must see” list. After further review… the play stands as called. The Sideline Scouting crew was not disappointed!

My Smoked BBQ Ribs Dinner (choice of Spicy or Regular BBQ) came with homemade Cole Slaw, BBQ Beans and Texas Toast. What makes The Brick Pit so delicious is that they smoke their chicken for 6-8 hours, ribs for 12 hours and the pulled pork for up to 30 hours.

If the signatures on the wall are any indication, plenty of Brick Pit visitors have left as satisifed as we did. The Sideline Scouting crew left their mark on the wall above the door as well.
